Monal Gajjar spills the beans on her debut in Marathi cinema with Satish Kaushik’s ‘Mann Udhaan Vara’

After impressing the audience with her power-packed performances in Southern movies followed by her impressive stints in Gujarati movies ‘Thai Jaishe!’, ‘Reva’ and ‘Family Circus’ is all perked up about her Marathi debut. The diva recently finished shooting her first Marathi film titled ‘Mann Udhaan Vara’ produced by Bollywood veteran star, Satish Kaushik and directed by Sanjay Memane.
In the film, the ‘Reva’ actress will be playing a major in the film opposite Rutvij Vaidya, who is also set to make his debut in Marathi cinema. An elated Monal shares ” I always preferred promising roles, it was definitely a pleasure for me when Satish sir gave me a chance to play this role. ‘Mann Udhaan Vara’ is a full package of love and emotion and one can experience in a relationship. And makers wanted a new face and accordingly, I and Rutvij were selected for this film as a couple.”

When asked about her chemistry with Rutvij, she said “this art medium is not new to us, even though both are new to each other. So it was fun working together”

With a very fluid and beautiful story, the movie is produced with the enchanting landscape of Konkan as the backdrop. The all-encompassing nature and intent have always been the strength of Marathi films. Satish Kaushik said, ” The story of the film has a very different viewpoint. It is a full package of love and emotion and one can experience a different aspect of life”

It features stars like Kishor Kadam, Uttara Bavkar, SagarKarande, Sharvari Lohkare, Monal Gajjar, Ritwij Vaidya, Dr.Sharad Bhutadia, Vinod Kulkarni, Bharati Patil, Vaibhav Rajadhyaksha, Sakshi Gandhi, Julia Mone and Anuradha Atlekar.

Produced under the banner of Satish Kaushik Entertainment Productions and Loka Entertainment and presented by Pen Movies Jayantilal Gada. The film is slated to release on 11 October 2019.
